Mi Tierra

Mi Tierra Cafe is a world-famous landmark restaurant located in Downtown San Antonio, in El Mercado owned by the Familia Cortez. It’s a place where hometown regulars and hungry tourists go for authentic Mexican food and a warm Texas welcome. It is one of the only major restaurants in the city that has employed some of the same people for more than 40 years.

Approach

This editorial communicates who Mi Tierra is and showcases their strong history, achievements and how successful this restaurant has become because of the hard-work from everyone who’s been employed there. The Cortez family always wanted Mi Tierra to be not something to just feed the family, but that fed the community and grew the culture.
